McDonagh in my opinion. Has 7 years left and the highest cap hit. He's also started to regress already and Sergachev could easily take over behind Hedman on the left side.

Could be a decent option, but he's still a solid top 4 d-man where as Gourde is a 5 mil 12-15 goal scorer at this point...

True! Those would be the 2 options for sure. Just looking at the price tag/term is why I chose McDonagh over Gourde.
