McCabe is worth more than Foligno
Idk why so many Sabres fans dislike him??
Was listening to Ullmark be interviewed on the Instigators a few weeks back, and they asked him who the best defenseman in our own end was?
He replied McCabe
Peters or Rivet (i forget which one) then mentioned how they had asked Hutton the same question, and he also said McCabe

Leads me to believe that McCabe isn’t going anywhere,
and that the fans have a very different viewpoint on him than the Sabres do

Also,
that 4th line needs Larsson
Too much of a gamble to think Asplund can step in and do a good job in a heavily defensive role

McCabe isn't bad but no, he is not worth more. Maybe to BUF, he's worth more but 1v1, Foligno has more value. One of the best defensive forwards in the league.

Assuming the roster we have here, that would be 5 RD and 2 on their off-side. Better to keep McCabe (for the defense) when Montour/Dahlin/Pilut can provide the offense.
