Cirelli gets the same as Sergachev, Try more like 4 years $14 million for Dylan DeMelo. McDonagh isn't waiving to go back to the NYR. Why would Gourd waive for Edmonton? And Julien Brisebois wont CBO Tyler Johnson he'd use that on Yanni Gourde instead. Tampa is screwed this summer no matter how you look at it. Brisebois had better hope that the salary cap doesn't drop dramatically or he's really screwed royally.

Like what? Killorn is the only movable pieces since his NTC becomes a 20 team trade list this summer. There's no guarantee of a CBO since the league is fighting it. The rest all have full NTC and are unlikely to move from Tampa. Yeah Brisebois is screwed be prepared for massive offer sheets on Cernak, Cirelli and Sergachev once the season is over.

Just because a player has a NTC or NMC doesn’t mean they won’t be against getting traded. They can waive it. Johnson and Gourde haven’t had top 6 ice time in a while and they’re so for a fresh start so if I had to bet they’d waive their clauses for some teams.

Gourde will more then likely be force out, He could go home to Montreal and yeah Johnson lost his 2C spot to Cirelli. Still don't see him waiving though. I see Yzerman trying to swoop in on his old team and get some decent players. They'd probably play top 6 minutes for him then bottom 6 staying on a stacked Tampa squad.

Even if they wave, you have to think about the possibility that Tampa will have to retain salary in trades or add picks/prospects to help facilitate them -- especially with a Gourde trade. They are not pretty contracts, and they have clearly declined since their big paydays. Maybe if they had more opportunity that would help them perform better, but no team is going to take $5m+ long term contract for a declining player willingly. I don't see this working out well for Tampa.

Who know what Yzerman will do, he could bring someone like Johnson or gourde to help both teams and even put them in top 6 for time on ice and points, HELL CBO someone like Nellson or Abdelkader, gourde would be a better upgrade than either one of them

If by a miracle Detroit land Lafreniere, Johnson would be a nice 2C between Lafreniere and Zadina he'd probably waive to Detroit for a chance to be 2C again between those two. Better then the position he's in now he'll be forced out as well.

Half of the RFA signed to league minimum deals have QO that are higher than that
