Would you do Dermott and a 2nd because I honestly doubt Pittsburgh would even take Bracco at this point.

    That won't get them Jarry.
I'm sorry, keeping both goalies and sending one to Seattle for cap relief on probably hornqvist is way more valuable to the team than that. Especially since you used the CBO on JJ.

I still think that too I’m just not sure how feasible it is at this point.

Very, Mario and Franscis are friends. They will come to a fair deal and help each other. There is no reason not to think that. It's an insiders game.

I’m saying I’m not sure if they’ll be able to keep both goalies for next season until they get to expansion. I agree that keeping both and giving murray to Seattle is the best possible option though.

... Leafs already have 2 NHL goalies. They're not trading a young NHL d-man plus more for another one, especially one that's only had 1 good season in the league.

Actually a firm and very easy no from Toronto.

You're underselling Jarry. Leafs don't even need him but they take this in a heartbeat.

The problem is we won't be able to resign Anderson and Hyman next year and Sandin, Rielly, Lilypad the year after. What I suggest is they trade for Jarry and sign him for 3-4 years at 4m(?) and trade Freddy for picks. Cambell might be able to replace Freddy but I'd feel better with Jarry. If we get Jarry for 4m, and Andy signs for 7m elsewhere we are saving 3m that could be used on Lily, Sandin, Rielly. It's a long term move.

If they trade Andersen now you can kiss Matthews good bye when his contract is done.

so then u want the leafs to overpay freddie putting us in more cap hell? Cause he is gonna demand money and we cannot afford to keep him. Even if freddie stays matthews may still want to go home who knows. Plus if we resign freddie we can kiss Liligren, Rielly, Sandin, Hyman all goodbye as we wont be able to afford any of them. For the long term success of this team freddie may have to be moved in the offseason

Anderson won't be a starter and could possibly be retired when AM's contract is gone. And he's already gone next year. Matthews will understand even if he doesn't like it.
