I’ll answer for them: no, not a chance. Georgiev is not worth a top 10 draft pick in a deep draft.

Doesn't it make more sense to CBO Lundqvist? it gives NYR almost double cap room.

rangers wouldnt do it for 2 reasons. They signed wall and hes solid while georgiev has trade value. He probably is going to be traded but hank may be able to be a mentor/backup

Ok I can see that but I think it makes more sense to keep Georgiev at least for part of the season. Shesterkin has only played 12 games in the NHL and never more than 2 back to back. My biggest fear would be Shesterkin not being able to take on the workload of a #1 goalie.

I'd swap hawks first for your the rangers first and Georgiev. But that'd be the only way I'd give up a first for Georgiev. We need high end forward prospects more than a young goalie

i would do that since hawks would have the 9th and rangers 13th. My main focus would be to get Lundell

Thats why I would be happy with Hank being a backup to him. He still is a solid and work hungry goalie who could help hsi development

if there is going to be a CBO than yes. but the league has given no indication that there will be. by now there would be more rumors about something at that magnitude.
