Hickey, although not flashy...would certainly work for a team that is rebuilding its defense and needs a veteran blue liner, especially if he is all the way back healthy; his contract is not bad although don't expect much in return. I too don't see two CBO's given to each team unless the payroll drops in the 75-77 million range. One is almost a certainty though at this point. Best case would be one CBO and a 80M payroll. If CHS gets traded I see only the Blues possibly offering a late rounder for him, assuming the look they got was enough to roll the dice with and keep other teams from chasing him.....
Barzal at 3/24 and Towes at 3/9 are safe bets, nothing wrong with that. Also nothing wrong with locking Pulock up at 6/36. If the Islanders want any type of flexibility they have to part with Bailey or Leddy and the later would in fact be easier to move.....
