You're not getting a 1st plus for any of these players and definitely not a 1st for Johnsson

I’m confused if you know this for a fact how come your not working for a NHL club in their front office ? I mean your talents for team building and asset management are being wasted on a site where fans simple put their opinions up, go go go fulfill your destiny of being the next great general manager since you know everything 👍

It's called basic deduction skills. Toronto's issue is clearly not goal scoring so selling decent depth players to get more goal scoring doesnt help them win. This above team literally has 2 subpar 4th lines and 2 3rd pair defense lines.

As for the trades the only one of those players that has show they are worth a 1st round pick is Kapanen.

If you had more knowledge about the Leafs you would understand that Robertson, Spezza and Engvall are not a subpar 4th line. A classic sign of poor argument creation is insulting intelligence "It's called basic deduction skills" and hyperbole "This above team literally has 2 subpar 4th lines and 2 3rd pair defense lines." It undermines the points you'd like to make.

Robertson is not NHL ready, Spezza is not good defensively and engvall is ok. You also have no cap space for your 3 health scratches. This team will not succeed. I know plenty about the leafs, apparently more than you.

I love it when people post a team on this ARMCHAIR GM site and then chirp a response like this. Just to be clear, NO ONE HERE IS A GM. Not the one posting OR the people commenting. When you disagree with a comment or post, maybe try arguing why you think they're wrong with hockey knowledge. You know, stats, contract issues, or why a team would or would not benefit from adding the player question... you know, hockey stuff...

Also I believe he's right. This is a very deep draft so maaaaaybe Kapanen nets a late 1st from a team that feels they've got a real chance in 20-21, but Hymen doesn't get a 1st as a return and the idea of Johnsson getting one is laughable.

I don't think that the returns on those trades that you've suggested are very realistic at all. Maybe Kapanen would return a 1st in the right scenario with the right team.

I think that you've overpaid Dermott and Mikheyev with the term you have here.

I don't think that Hall is worth the money in this case. Good player for sure. Not worth the dough in this situation.

What a joke, The cap wont be $84 mil and the Leafs cant afford to give Hall 7 x $10 mil And the Leafs anyways don't need 4 players making $10 mil and more.
