Neal and McDavid for Mariner and Matthews I think this is a fair value but both teams highly covet these 3 (excluding Neal for obvious reasons) and I just don’t think this would happen.

Mcdavid is to valuable to even entertain thibking of trading him. Even Matthews and Marner would make Edmonton think about it.

why even trade for Mcdavid just wait till he is a UFA. If he wants to come play for the team he grew up watching and dreamed about playing for why not.

Gee, don't know where you come up with this nonsense It sure isn't obvious that he wants to go Arizona. When he plays in Arizona that one game a year, the arena is just 2/3rds full and most of those fans are Canadian snowbirds cheering for the Leafs. IMO Matthews wants to play on the big NHL and USA stage and that sure isn't Arizona.
No doubt iMatthews doesn't remain a Leaf when his contract is up. But to say Arizona...not basis at all. IMO. LA, New York or even Chicago are the front runners.

That's the only trade for McDavid that would actually get the Oilers to consider McDavid.
