The trade is meh, but more importantly, Mete would never sign that. His stats are very similar to Travis Sanheim's 2018-19 stats, for which Philly gave him a 3,25M contract. Expect Mete to sign a bridge ranging from 2,75 to 3,25.

Sanheim had 9 goals in 2018-19 and Mete has 4 in his career. Obviously, it's not everything but he might not even have a Top 4 position if Kulak takes it. Mete probably get around 1-2 mil

No way Mete gets a lick over 2M on a short term deal. He is looking at 1.25-1.75 depending on the term of 2-3 years. He may very well not even be on the left side in the top 6 by the end of training camp.....

Might have to be forced to RHD 3rd pair or 7th dman. A lot depends on Romanov and Kulak. Kulak has chemistry with Petry so that is a likely pairing. Chiarot with Weber is a forgone conclusion after last year and no apparent better solution. Leaves Romanov on the bottom pair with Mete on his wrong side assuming Romanov is the real deal. IMO.

Definitely. They won’t give Mete much more than they gave Kulak last year.

Mete will be a year older (Let's remember he's 21). I don't see Kulak being any better than the 7th defensemen (like he was this season). There is always the chance that he doesn't make the team, but I'd imagine it's more likely he does over Kulak.
