You are obviously not a Leafs fan so I will explain this to you: This offseason the Leafs will have less then 3m to sign a RHD. Larsson isn't a top-pairing defensemen, and for that money they can sign a guy like DeMelo. They really don't want Larsson.

Yes, JP seems like a solid player but his ceiling simply isn't as high as it use to be. I think that he is worth a 2nd, and maybe a little more. The problem is he refuses to play. Why would the Rangers trade their goalie of the future for someone who might now even play for them. It just isn't a smart move.

The last part is Fast. Fast is a 30 point guy. This year, Pageau who is a 40 point guy signed a $5m contract. Last offseason, Connoly, who was usually a guy who gets 30 pts and had 1 good year got 3.5. Fast is going to get a penny less then 2.75~ish. Also, Hall is not going to back to Edmonton and I don't think he will sign for less then 8.5. That is simply what's going to happen.

Also about your RFA signings, please check out some other peoples AGM teams so you can see what Ennis, Bear, etc. will get paid.
