Byram is almost assuredly playing in the NHL next season as there was talk they would have him join the team for the playoffs, and are supposedly looking to make a spot by moving one of the existing dmen most likely Zadorov. After him Timmins is just about ready but after that guys are a ways of like Helleson. Forward prospects are much deeper with Newhook, Kaut, Bowers, LOC and then further down Kovalenko, Ranta. They don’t need forward prospects.

While I do not think the Ave's will trade Byram, if they were to I would assume any team would have to give the Avalanche something that can really help then now and not in the future (since they have plenty of futures and they are legit contenders now). They are built the right way (i.e. they're not paying $40 million to 4 forwards). In this case, would the Canadiens have to trade a player with experience, and they do not have one that the Avalanche would really desire, unless they include Domi and their 2020 first? Or Domi, Struble and their 2020 first? That's probably too much. Without calling anyone names (that is a really big ask on this site), what does everyone think?

ill give you credit. i was expecting the typical drouin, domi, poehling, mete, and/or juulsen in the proposal so good job not doing that.

byram could be expendable for the avs and 8th overall pick is a nice piece, but adding just a 2nd and 4th doesn't add much value. there is a talent drop off and the avs would have to wait another year to get a player in their system.

Sakic isn't dealing Byram for picks only, And i got news for you Rossi and Raymond are gone before pick #8.

mete would be behind girard, graves, cole, and zadorov. doesn't do anything for colorado. if the avs did want ld they'd want romanov but i'm not sure they want ld.

At this point, it's pointless to argue. It's a fantasy team website so we can't expect every users of AGM to be like Sam Pollock, Bill Torey, David Poile or Steve Yzerman.

I think everyone who complains should have an account suspension. Like, why do you feel the need to read them AND then feel the need to respond? You can just ignore it.

I truly baffled me when I see people getting upset on this site. Like if you don't want to read something, then don't read it. People make teams for a variety of reasons, and it's these super negative comments that ruin this website.

Remember: this is, at its heart, supposed to be fun. Don't take that away just because you disagree with something. It's like your acting that your opinion is he only one that matters. Whether this person's trade is logical or not makes no difference: be a better person and just ignore it.
