Description

Jets need to add a little truculence to their D again. They don't need offensive Defensemen with Pionk, Morrissey, Niku, Heinola, Chisholm already in the system. Samberg looks like he will turn into a reliable physical presence. Stanley was drafted to fill that role but hasn't met expectations. Gawanke could be a dark-horse breakout candidate.

Zadorov and DeMelo will help keep the crease clear for Helly.

Haula can't be happy with his free agency timing. A one year contract between two stud wingers should do wonders for his value. Buys Rosy another year of growth to prove he belongs in the top 6.

I dont think COL would trade Zadorov to a central division team. and if they did it would need to be an overpay not just a 2nd

I have been a big advocate of trying to sign Haula. Timing sucks for Haula and the 1 year option actually seems like a realistic choice for him.

What would both of you see as a fair deal to move Z? I based this value off of a recent AGM post where the feedback was that he wasn't worth a 2nd and a 3rd.

I think hes worth a 2nd + 4th or 2nd + low tier prospect. I dont think the Avs would trade him to a central division team though. I would rather take a slightly lesser return for him and send him to an eastern conference team than get a little bit more in a trade but have to play against him 3+ times per year in winnipeg
