Spent way too much on goaltending

Eh, Fleurys contract is coming to an end soon and Lehner is kinda worth it. The rest of the roster is basically locked down for a while anyways

Still. Fleury still has 2 years left. That’s a lot of money invested in goalies for 2 years.

There's no way Robin Lehner stays in Vegas, He's looking for a major payday. Wouldn't surprise me in the neighborhood of 6 x 7 could definitely see Detroit offering him that much. Not saying he'd go there but we can definitely pay him the most with close to $40 million in cap space and needing to sign about 12 more players.

He's already said he is looking for stability rather than the highest payday. If Vegas offers him a long term deal of 5-6 years at a competitive 6 million price point he could definitely stay. He would have stayed in Chicago for that before they traded him.

Also, there are quite a few teams who have had the opportunity to sign him and passed already, I wouldn't assume the market for him is this huge blockbuster you think it is.
