Nothing much here, just keep the group together, bring back one of Hamonic or Brodie, I thought about tearing it down, and I'd consider it irl, I don't think this team can win a cup, I'm ok with but not super comfortable with the goaltending (Talbot could be brought back if they don't think anyone else can fill in as backup) Gio and Andersson are really good, and so is the rest of the defense, but for whatever reason it underwhelms me, idk why, it's really good on paper at least, I'm not super confident in Monahan as a 1C, but having Backlund Dube Janko and Ryan is fantastic, and the top 6 wings are still solid, but I went against that bc they do already play in the weakest division, I wouldn't want to waste the last few years of Gio either, I was considering trying to make a "hockey trade" (with gaudreau/Monahan) but I just don't really think that's possible with the way the NHL is balanced out rn, plus what does this team really need other than scoring... A goalie...? Who's available that would be an upgrade... Hank...? I highly doubt that... So just stay the course, see how the year shakes out
They'll probably sign someone other than Czarnik/Rinaldo, but I really like Czarnik, and CGY may want to bring Rinaldo back
Mango will certainly get a raise but I doubt he makes much more then 3. Kylington has no arb rights so he has very little leverage. Due to his performance this year Janko doesn't have much pull in arbitration and probably wont make much more then his QO (I also see him being moved this summer, he still has value to teams that need to improve their PK). Brodie >> Hamonic, but I could see GMBT looking in to Barrie or Vatanen to QB the first powerplay. Gillies as back up is pretty sketchy, I hope Talbot is resigned. TBH main focus this summer should be coaching and maybe a top 6 forward
A few things I don’t agree with,
1. Gilles won’t be coming back, and even if he gets a new contract he won’t make it past the backup in Stockton.
2. I don’t see Janko making more than 1mil, Kylington I think will come in around 1 mil or less, and Mang will probably get closer to 3 and not 4
3. Also I know it was a small sample size, but I wouldn’t mind seeing them bring back Gustafsson at 4-4.5 and letting Hammer and Brodie walk. I believe this team needs a bit of a shake up and letting players like Brodie and hamonic walk could provide a bit of a jolt

Yeah, I was comparing mango to the leafs guys from last summer, but gave him a bit more bc he's better defensively, personally, I really like Janko, I think he far better than his points this year show, yeah... I always get Brodie and Hamonic confused lol, I wouldn't really be interested in either of those guys tho, Vatanen was just terrible everywhere this yr, and Barrie is a third pair PP QB imo, but both likely end up getting around 5 mil at least I thought Gillies was a bit better than that, but yeah, you could probably bring Talbot back for 1.75ish
