Description
Yeah I'm late... I was busy today, same cap no CBO blah blah blah I'm just gonna make the team

This team is deadly.

I was planning this before starting and I forgot about Debrusk so I was gonna trade Coyle to sign Toffoli and say like this is how you compete, replace Coyle with the youth, and upgrade elsewhere, but no real need... He'd just end up in the same spot... Or Debrusk moves down idk, plus with the Moore trade this team can weaponize it's cap space, 9 mil to go after a top 4 LD... (No, I will NOT sign Krug, NO, he doesn't bring nearly enough outside the PP and O-Zone to justify 7+ mil which I'm sure someone is gonna pay with the lack of top 4 LHD on the market this year)

Vaak can be replaced by Chara on a 1 mil+bonuses contract if he decides to come back, but I think Vaak is a total stud and could have played this year

I don't think they'd need to pay to move Moore, he's still serviceable, just not in a top 4 role imo, I'd rather sign a FA (not Krug, I can't justify 7+ mil for him) but just in case people think he has to have a sweetener I traded back a year in the third ?‍♀️

Moore can definitely fetch more, but at least you didnt make him a 'cap dump' so it doesnt really matter, the bruins just wanna get rid of him.

Honestly, a little light on the debrusk deal at 4 years is my thought, but I could be wrong.

My only fear is that Halak will want 4+ to go somewhere else as a starter, perhaps the flat cap and end of season would change that, but im not sure.

OVERALL for the concept: good job!!

(JUST SWITCH RITCHIE AND BJORK!!!! BJORK is higher on the depth chart)

(I mean Most likely, they bring krug back, and sign Chara, and they already offered Kevan Miller a contract, but for the sake of this ACGM i dont feel like arguing those things rn lol)

That's exactly what I thought I'd see from Moore (then people from team x that I sent him to saying they'd need like 3 firsts to take him bc CF)

I figured at the same cap, decent comps for him are the guys in TOR from last summer

I could see that too, and would totally love for it to happen (no offense... Less competition in the East is good for me 😂 even if it is just removing a backup)

As an ANA fan, I LOVED Ritchie (aside from some offensive zone penalties) he was just starting to finally hit his potential to yr

Cant see BOS signing Dillon. Chara wont have this year be his last and even so, they have faith in their young guys (they would sign Krug with that money)

solid post tho

Yeah those people are morons unfortunately.
He is a 2nd to 3rd dpair guy who is stuck playing behind Chara, Krug, Griz (all top 4 dmen) and Lauzon (who has solidified himself as a top 6 dman).
They just think because he isnt getting full minutes he is a bust.
My best comparison is like saying Malkin is just a top 6 forward and not an elite forward. Well of course he is a second liner, he plays behind Crosby, but the Morons would say "Oh my god! 9.5 Million for a second liner!? Yeah he will take him, but we also need to get a 1st rounder with him to take on his cap"
Its dumb
Moore is worth a 4th or 5th, but the bruins will take a 6th or 7th becuase they dont need him
