Although I like your work in analyzing Kerfoot, the trade with the Islanders is lopsided. Johnsson is an undersized, overpaid, bottom roster player coming off a serious injury, and NYI are in the same league as Toronto, thus they are also in a cap squeeze. Why would they take on 2 million extra in cap, give up 3rd round pick in a deep draft year, and a serviceable RHD that has term and low cost remaining, just to get Johnsson? You analyzed Kerfoot pretty good, and he is better than Johnsson.
