You should just resign Demelo. Vatanen is good offensively and is like Pionk. Demelo is better defensively

I agree with DeMelo over Vatanen and I'm not a fan of the Edmundson signing unless it is a one year deal. Niku, Samberg, Heinola, Chisholm and Stanley are all LDH prospects to play long-term behind Morrissey. I would far rather see Beaulieu brought back for depth and let the prospects battle for ice-time. I believe that one of Niku, Samberg or Heinola will distance them-self from the pack to play second pairing minutes. I also can't see the Jets exercising a CBO on Little unless he is wanting a way out. TNSE is too loyal for him to be cut off for the cap difference between Haula and Little.

To me, Vatanen and Edmundson are icing on the cake. De Melo is your real number one priority.

Haula is an excellent idea for stopgap #2 C.

But he may be physically unable to play.

Then he would go LTIR and Jets could save the CBO or use it on Perreault.
