Description
I know it seems crazy but I think it's in TBs best interest to trade Point and Hedman. Both players will bring nice returns in futures and open up cap space. They both also play positions that TB is deep in, so the cheaper younger option is usually the better option.
Not sure if value is good on these trades, pretty sure I should be asking for more in Hedman deal, but I think these deals are good for both sides.

I don't follow lightning but I was bored, you know the whole quarantine thing slowly driving me nuts.

If these trades are just stupid, then points are rewarded for funny comments.

A rebuilding Detroit team isn't giving that up for Point, And zero chance of either Hedman or Johnson waiving for Montreal. Tampa is much further along on their cup quest then Montreal. That's for sure.

I agree this is a mess! but I'm going to guess there is only one trade here that the creator cares about.

No, all I really want to do is move out a few higher cost vetrans where the bolts are deep so I can resign the RFAs I don't follow TB but their cap situation is a interesting one and I'm curious how it plays out. That said I figured I didn't ask for enough on Hedman and i thought Detroit would have a lot of interest in point because of the stevie y connection and need but the guys are right it probably isn't a great fit at the moment.

I assumed that Minnesota was the only trade that mattered that happens here a lot. If that offended you I apologize. Detroit doesn't have enough pieces in place to trade 4 for 1. Does Point turn Detroit in to a contender next season? Detroit is giving up two 1st round picks both are more than likely going to be lottery picks. The first pick in the 2nd rd this seasons draft and their top offensive prospect. There are maybe 5-10 players in the NHL worth that much. This move would keep Detroit in a rebuild for another 5 seasons easy.
