Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

over this offseason the leafs are gonna have to get a RHD, and you could say the leafs have the leverage to do it. I imagine the leafs wouldn't be afraid to trade any of the 2021 1st round pick, Johnsson, Dermott, Kerfoot, Bracco, etc.

some candidates I could see coming over are:

Dylan DeMelo
Kevin Shattenkirk (realistically, I can't imagine he gets all that much he only had 1 good season on a jacked team right after showing he wont fit on every team)

Let Andersen and Campbell split the games 52 to 30 games just to see if Campbell could be a cheaper starting goalie. Cause Freddie will be getting more than whatever Holtby signs for.

Vatanen is a bad option he is bad at defense. More like an offensive styled player

Vatanen not so much that guy barely stays healthy. DeMelo could work, Manson 100% but duck fans overvalue him, and severson meh. If I was toronto (weegar, cernak, mayfield, and roy) should be targets. All can come fairly cheap and toronto wont have to give up to much to get them

One experiment I wonder about brodie. He could be interesting especially with Muzzin but some people say he is the jake gardiner of calgary which is a red flag right there, but still with his health issues he may sign for a reasonable contract so who knows

rn nobody knows which of the 2 is going. I say serg should stay as tampa's defensive depth is gonna be tested if he goes. Tampa could probs adapt better without Cirelli but still that loss will be hard.

The reason I think Cernak is they have foote and they are thinking of bringing him up next season so he could be an excellent replacement especially if paired with the right guy which if tampa keeps Serg that left side of their defense will be deadly (Hedman, Mcdonagh, Sergechev) and all will be excellent mentors to foote

I could actually see that happening, with campbell being way better than the last 2 backups Freddie should get some more down time. All this team needs is a better dcore and we may have an excellent goaltending tandem especially if campbell can replicate his 2018-2019 season with the kings.

I think Demelo is gonna tell the Jets to pound sand and somehow Dubas is gonna find the cap to sign him, I hope the Jets can convince him to sign but I have my doubts.

most people feel liligren for cernak is fair but most tampa fans feel he is worth way more. We will just have to see what happens in the offseason

Yeah he's from London, Ontario and if he even cares a little bit playing closer to home then Toronto becomes the obvious choice.

I'm not too thrilled about most of the names being mentioned here for different reasons. Of the names mentioned, only Conner Murphy is interesting but even he may not be good enough to be Rielly's partner cause let's face it....that's the kind of player the Leafs need.
