I can't really agree with Geno, Guentzel was nearly as good if not better while Crosby was out (I mean they were mostly on the same line, so...) Also I can't agree with either of the caps players, Orlov was nearly as good as Carlson and Vrana was just insane this yr
If the list was «depth players bums who were overplayed all season by a stubborn coach» then yes he would be there, alongside Clutterbuck, Boychuk and Khunackl
Nah BOS is just a great team all around. Yes they're great but even if Marchand put up 15 less pts and Pastrnak put up 10 less goals the team would've still been top 5 in the whole league

Leo komarov has the best lockerroompresence/60 in the league
Absolutely. How many trophies does JT have compared to Geno?
To be fair JT played on awful teams with no depth or defense what so ever for like 8/10th of his career... no wonder why he said f**k off to NYI he was sick and tired of their management
I was being sarcastic (it's hard to convey tone through typing). I was saying that it wasn't exactly a hot take. Geno is/has been unquestionably better than Tavares.

Yes Guentzel was great while with Geno but they only played together from the Crosby injury at game 17 to the last game of 2019. So it wasn’t like the whole year. Geno is the Pens MVP this year. Geno was just as good without Guentzel. His line didn’t produce as much but was still effective.

Geno is definitely better than Tavares, however, it is true that JT played on god awful Islanders teams throughout the first decade of his career. He was in the same situation as Eichel, perhaps worse.
