it's getting to a point where i almost want the leafs to trade for Connor Murphy so people can actually see how poor a fit he would be to this team, especially on the top pairing

Well if you don’t think he’s a good player, then you probably shouldn’t trade for him. Strome will be getting 4.5-6 million range.

VAN decline, they don't need a bunch of AHLers and throwing in Johnsson doesn't change anything. The Canucks are looking to shed salary not gain.

Chicago isn't taking this trade

Chicago trade is awful and the vancouver one is less terrible but still bad.

In all honesty...There's 1 sure fire NHL player going to CHI in that deal. Engvall has half a season under his belt. Bracco...ZERO NHL games. Holl is literally 28 years old and just got his first NHL season. He was also drafted by the Hawks...which has too many Dmen already...so he literally brings negative value. Except that he has the best birthday ever...so if that counts for anything..."cool"

This might sound a bit harsh, but I wouldn't give any one of those players for the pile of....nothing. Let alone all three.

The funny part is this AGM thinks this trade will work for Chicago, then proceeds to think he can sign Strome for $1.55M saying he had a decent season yet thinks a guy like Engvall moves the needle....this is laughable at best

If strome was willing to sign for this amount hawks would keep him . laughs get a top 4 dman on a great contract a young 2nd line center and nylander ( still a relatively unknown ) for a bunch of career ahlers , 3rd and 4th liners ?????? Why would hawks do this ??? There biggest need is defence , Hawks are trading the two best players in this deal and the best prospect in this deal for basically roster fillers and rejects .
