Description
I'm a DieHard Pens fan! And this is what I would like to see for next season!

Enjoy! Don't be hasty.

Notes:

-Calgary needs another Top 6 forward and Bjugstad fits the bill nicely.
-Anaheim needs another dman anyways so they'll take on JJ.
-I might regret the Chris Tanev signing in a year or so. Haula is a good fit tho. His speed and skill really suits the Pens.
-I signed Bealieu but maybe Riikola or even Joseph step in and play some fair minutes on the bottom 6 D core.

Anaheim needs Calen Addison, but he's already gone.

Anaheim needs John Marino, but only an idiot would trade him away.

Anaheim has LD's Cam Fowler, Hampus Lindholm, Christian Djoos, Jacob Larsson, Brendan Guhle and Josh Mahura, with second-round pick Jackson LaCombe in the background, so one player Anaheim doesn't need is Jack Johnson. Don't you remember why we traded Marcus Pettersson to you?

JJ can play RD just as well as LD

Not saying the above trade is fair, but couldn’t the Ducks just bury him? They have the cap space for him.

Absolutely true. I wanted to nip the "Anaheim needs another defenseman anyway" inaccuracy in the bud; as you imply, a 2020 second and 2021 third would be awfully tempting for us.

Correct. He plays both quite badly.
someone needs to bury him in the minors, and even with anaheim's depth at LHD, they are still one of the few I think might(emphasis might) be willing to take JJ.
    -no analytics dept.
    -murray/rutherford=best traders
    -cap space
-come on, its anaheim. they're not going anywhere soon.

    C. Tanev will probably be able to get more elsewhere, but regardless I don't want to pay the #3RHD that much. its just not necessary.
McCann will not get over $3.5 because he wasn't consistent and ended on a horrible goalless drought.
if Murray is here next year, there is no way he's making less than Jarry. could Jarry be better? that's another debate. the front office still respects Murray and what he CAN do.

Thanks for the feedback! I was kinda leery on what to pay for Tanev. The main reason why I added him is the Tanev bros would be together and he is a solid dman!
That's good to hear on McCann as that will free up more cap space for the Pens!
I honestly think Murray is great but I've been losing faith especially with his .899% this season. Its a tough call goalie wise, but only time will tell for that situation I guess.

Murray’s inconsistency is so frustrating. He has had in his still short career 5 injuries (since 2017-18) already. He’s still had flashes of greatness. Ex. January-on last season he was amazing. I hope he can pull it together, but technically I’d rather have Jarry succeed and stay because he’s more inexpensive.
