If you buy out Marner, you’ve got lots of cap to bring in good defenseman & defensive forwards.

but even if you did want him gone you could get a nice return for him why would you ever buy him out. This just doesn't make any sense

k if u buy out marner that sends the wrong message so unless he makes a deal with dubas to go to europe then come back I dont see it working out. Buying marner out will make Dubas look bad as he gives people an excuse to go oh u overpaid marner and u bought him out great now quit your job

Robertson can't play in the AHL as long as he is OHL age level. He'll either make the Leafs as a healthy scratch/injury replacement or maybe the Leafs send him overseas.

let him go to ligaa or the european league and play for a bit. It can help with his development and give him tougher competition.

they really dont need to make big trades to buff the defense. In my latest build I buffed up the defense without spending to much or buying any of the big 4 out. And the offense of the team should stay around the same

So we get rid of a 22 year old potential 100 point player and franchise player for two defenseman on the downside of their careers. Makes no sense and hard to understand your logic.

DeMelo is 26 he can still be good for another 4 seasons. The thing is, the Leafs will end up being desperate cuz they need cap space. So they’ve gotta make that decision.

The Leafs have the CapSpace right now to keep team in place and only add some lower salary players that can play. Tanev is a walking time bomb as his body will not hold up much longer the way he plays and DeMelo is another fringe player at best.

Well I talk about lots of things but I want the Leafs to buy out Marner so that he can sign in Pittsburgh.

I have never seen you talk about anything other than the Leafs trading or buying out Marner.
