Pietrangelo gets a NMC for first 4 years giving us the option to move him if we need more cap space for Matthews/Nylander in 4 years.

Askarov is the high end goalie prospect missing from the Leafs organization. He should be ready to come in and take the starting role in 2-3 years. He also gives us more leverage in contract negotiations with Freddy.

Cozens looked good last season and should be ready to make the jump to the NHL. He will likely never be as good as Marner but would provide us with a young, skilled, right handed, cost controlled 3C.

Liljegren gets one more year in the AHL with the potential to come up and form a 3 man rotation with Sandin and Dermott if he performs well.

Robertson starts in the NHL because of his amazing performance last season. If it turns out he isn't physically mature he goes to play top line minutes in the AHL. Engvall goes to the 3rd line and Brooks/Gauthier fight for the last roster spot.
