Why in the hell would Yzerman want Drouin back, Like i stated numerous times before. Mantha only gets moved for a legit top 4 LHD which the Habs can't provide us as we and Montreal need the exact same things. Caufield is tempting but Detroit's not moving Mantha and Seider. End of story.

Drouin is trash and we don't need him, Caufield is nice but weren't trading Mantha and Seider if that were the case then you'd need to include this year 2020 1st #8 not next years. Detroit says hell no seider isn't available for anything. If you think that's a fair offer for Detroit then you obviously don't know value.

Just stating that Drouin is trash cause he got a bad year of injuries, is pure feeling, not true evaluation you need to understand that Drouin can be a top6 impact player but still need to manage the press and pressure of human specter (which is somehow normal in such a fuzzy world like NHL) . Mantha is a pure 30 goals scorer, Drouin a 25 goals 45 passes if well centered. And I do Think with all due respect that Yzy know that and if Mantha don't want to stay long term, well Drouin actual contract may be a good replacement. (cuz yea it's also about money here).

He is trash compared to his draft position, His best year is like 53 points. He's nowhere near Larkins talent and Larkin was drafted like 12 positions under him. We''re not trading for Drouin just to possibly trade him back for Sergachev that's a total laugh. Anyways this does nothing for Detroit if we move Mantha it's definitely not for this. The problem with Wings deal that their is history between Yzerman and Drouin. Their time in Tampa was a real problem with Yzerman saying if you play hard you play and Drouin saying he was kept down. Drouin even walked away from his AHL team as he wanted a trade. Yzerman is not trading for him, because the issues they had in the past.

Lastly Wings have a alot of talented wingers that could be true NHLers, what they need is defensemen and that is why I doubt he trades a dman for more forwards.
