Suzuki isn't that good, he regressed slightly from last year (tbf he was hurt... But that's still a lost year of development) he's not much better if at all than Puistola Rees Murray Geekie and Tieksola, and the first is gonna be late and Eichel (though overrated)>>>>Aho

He's overrated as in he's not a top 3-5 C like it seems I see on here all the time, he's still fringe top 10, and he's improved noticably every year on his career, I like that, and this year he's really improved defensively (he's slightly above average last I checked... Aho... Uhhhhh, he's better than Drai defensively....) And the assets we're giving up on top of him aren't gonna affect this team long term all that much

Disagree, Eichel and Aho are about the same in value. In terms of xGA and xGF, Aho is better than the Sabres counterpart. Aho also is capable of playing on the wing. Both Aho and Eichel are top 20 C's, and this just isn't worth it. Eichel is a hell of a player, but he's not worth Aho and Suzuki. That's just a fact.

Have you seen Aho's RAPM xGA and CA... Their 3 years may be similar, but this year Eichel's is much much better (last I saw at least) plus Suzuki isn't that good... I'd take Rees over him in a heartbeat, maybe Murray, and probably Puistola are all better than him... And Geekie obv...

Suzuki is better than Murray, and Puistola. I'd even argue Suzuki is better than Rees because 1 year doesn't define a player. Eichel had a career year, but all metrics suggest he won't do that again, whereas Aho's numbers are increasing at a sustainable rate all the time. Aho is a better player than Eichel, I don't understand how you can make a case otherwise. Players have career years all the time, that's all Eichel had.

That is very false, defensively his xGA has deteriorated every year since he entered the league. His numbers are very offensive orientated. He's a very talented 1-trick pony. He's numbers have been stagnant the 2 year before this looking at charting hockey. He's not fot the 2 way game to be a top 10 C.
