Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

I did mock drafts of every first round for Every team from 2010 all the way to 2019. (2019 stayed the same because its too early to tell). Now I wanted to see what the core of some teams could've looked like if teams drafted according to my mock drafts. Keep in mind I was simply drafting off of best available, not positional needs at the time.

This is mainly being used as a tool to see which teams are and are not good at the draft table. Late round steals aren't really applied to this so keep that in mind.

I'll keep players who were drafted before 2010 or went undrafted on the team

This was assuming absolutely 0 trades.

How they got here:

2011 27th overall- Andrew Shaw +112 spots (Namestnikov)
2012 10th overall- Teuvo Teravainen +8 spots (Slater Koekkoek)
2012 19th overall- Chris Tierney +36 spots (Anrei Vasilevski)
2013 3rd overall- Seth Jones +1 spot (Jonathon Drouin)
2014 19th overall- Igor Shesterkin +99 spots (Anthony Deangelo)
2016 27th overall- Ryan Lindgren +22 spots (Brett Howden)
2017 14th overall- Owen Tippett -4 spots (Cal Foote)
2019 27th overall- Nolan Foote (no change)

I think this shows how good of a job the Lightning have done drafting as a whole. From all the drafted players they find to late round steals, and not a lot of terrible first round picks, this is why they are such a good team year after year. However since this is mainly bases off of round one performance, i'll give them a B+. (if this was all rounds they would for sure have an A)
