There is no way Norris and Brown will be 1st and 2nd line centers next year unless they both make significant jumps in their level of play.

I'd sign Tierney to more term (4 or more years) or else we are signing him to walk in 2 years. He has been very consistent and will have more trade value with more term on his contract.

Connor Brown is overpaid here. His last season was an outlier in terms of his production. I'd give him 4M max. Even if he plays like he did this season 4.5M is expensive.

I'd like to see Brannstrom in the lineup next year. Maybe instead of Jaros.

Duclair should get less for that AAV with the way he played in the back half of the season.

I don't see the Leafs trading a decent prospect (Bracco) for a guy with essentially no value. I think Bracco returns a 3rd maybe a 4th minimum.

Tierney doesn’t belong in the long term plans. He’s going to get 1 year in arbitration most likely. Connor Brown is really good and will ask for a lot of money. Davidsson has 0 value ? I think he’s not bad

I disagree that Tierney doesn't belong in the long term plans; I think he'd be a very solid 3C for a cup contender. But even if you don't think he belongs in long term plans it is better to sign consistent players to longer contracts. A player with 2 or 3 years left on their contract has more trade value than a pending UFA.

If we trade him at the deadline in 2 years and he is in the last year of his contract we get a 2nd or 3rd round pick back. If he has 2 or 3 years term we might be able to get two 2nd or 3rd round picks back.

Brown's production is good because he plays over 20 minutes a night. But once the team gets better he will not get that many minutes and his production will go down. He is a 3rd liner on a contender, 4.5M is too much.
