Way too much for Deangelo. I’d much rather re-sign DeMelo and then sign a better LHD like Dillon.

You do realize Deangelo just came off of a 50 point season and could have reached 60 had the season not been cut short, right?

I know he’s good offensively, but the Jets need guys who are good defensively. We need someone who can soak up 22+ minutes against top lines. Deangelo just isn’t that type of defenseman. Heinola and a 1st is just too much for us to give up when we already have our own Deangelo in Pionk.

If you want the Habs to take a cap dump from you then we need something better in return than Dahlstrom.

I'm really not a Martinez fan and Kovacevic has had a pretty good first pro season, I'm not dealing him and a 2nd for an old soon to be UFA dman and in this scenario where Gustafsson is signed I'd just play him on the 2nd pair and sign Sbisa or some other low cost LHD to play on the 3rd pair, Niku could play on the 3rd pair also.

Cirelli loves Tampa he's going nowhere, julien brisebois would cut loose of both Sergachev and Cernak before risking loosing Cielli. And you can only sign Deangelo for 7 years not 8 years not hard to figure out.
