Vlassic is still better then most of Toronto defenseman. The only problem is that he make too much money but he still a Nhl players. You didn’t have seen him play this year if you think so. He is still playing 20+ minutes and all of these minutes are against top opposition. The contract is terrible but the players is still able to play at a fairly high level. Wilson is the one to blame for that one.

Lol wat? Hes by far worse then ceci. He cant skate or move the puck anymore. Sure he plays against top competition but hes horrible and cant keep up anymore. He isnt a good penalty killer anymore. Contract aside hes barely a 6th defenseman and at that he isnt that good.

You must be mixing up Vlasic with Karl Alzner, I can see the confusion. Vlasic played 70 games this year, 20 minutes a night and lead his team in average PK minutes with 2.50. He was also 2nd on his team for blocked shots. Sure hes not the star he was 3-4 years ago but he's certainly not an AHL'er

Cap go down, so do players salaries. Won't be just the unsigned players that are taking reduction....all salaries be affected.....

Don't know why some folks the cap can't go down. The NHL lost 25% of it's revenue in 2019/20 which is the basis of the 2020/21 cap.
