Sure but stats are far more important. The eye test should be more of a backup conformation part because of how we are lied to
As I said... it’s a mix of both. Neither is far more important then the other. If you don’t see that your blind one way or another. Though I’m pretty sure we’ve had this conversation before in a discord server....
How many wingers in the top-100 faceoffs/game? Draisaitl is 14th, FYI.
I dont want to go through and count but you do know that a centerman does do other things then take a faceoff. When a centerman gets thrown out of a draw does the ref just toss the puck to the opposing defenseman? Did you even consider what an on the fly shift would do to your point? Mcdavids is bad at faceoffs so draisaitl takes them. That doesnt mean draisaitl is the center, it means he took the faceoff
Ooof my bad. I'm sorry the facts dont agree with you
youre wrong end of story, majority of people will agree with me but youll stick to your "facts" not gonna waste my time on ignorant people such as yourself.

So what makes him better then the people on the list?

Draisaitl is 11th in the league in faceoffs - nobody gets there due to the refs throwing their center out of the circle. And coaches give the majority of OTF starts to players that they want to shelter - its no coincidence the top faceoff men in the league only include top centers.

Ok you are proving my point. A couple posts back you said draisaitl moved to center around December 31st or something like that. He definitely didnt take all those faceoffs after December 31st so that means he was taking faceoffs while playing with McDavid- we both already know that. This is the part where it gets fuzzy because McDavid isnt a winger. Just because draisaitl takes the faceoffs doesnt mean he is the centerman. Aside from taking the faceoff he is a winger. Without McDavid hes a center but when hes with McDavid (the forward who hes spent the most TOI with out of the Oilers) he is a winger who takes faceoffs

No, I said he moved off of McDavid's line. He's been a center for his entire career.

Watch the pre-Dec 31 games. Who was the 1st forward back? Who drew the defensive assignments?
