Kings would never make that trade. They have plenty of cap room. They don’t even need a buyout. Boston would have to pay us to take Moore not the other way around.

that is inaccurate, his contract reflects a bottom pairing defenseman which is exactly what he is, any team looking for defensive depth would gladly take him for a 3rd or 4th

Not sure why people keep trying to trade Moore. Quality 3rd pairing d-man that can play either side of the defense and makes $2.7 million. Rather have him as my 7th d-man in case of an injury vs trying to call a guy up from Providence who may not be ready.

It's not a terrible signing but it's definitely not a good one. They could get out of it with a low end prospect.

He's depth. He's showing and Lauzon for example is showing, that Bruins have good depth for handling injures etc. (next man up!!).
No one is losing sleep over J Moore and if they are then they got issues beyond repair...

2.75M to 3.5M the difference is an entry level roster player, a fourth liner, it does make a big difference actually. and im not saying Calgary couldn't move his contract in the same way.

Talking about the Bruins and Cap 'angst' at US$2.75M (for 3yrs really as this one is in the books or US$8.25Mil total) is the biggest joke one can read on these boards during the PAUSE (period)!!
