Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

These aren't my ideal lines, but we all know Colliton hates putting Kane and Toews together. Would Montreal do that deal? Not sure, but I know they love Beaudin.

Demelo is probably underpaid here, as he consistently plays 20 a night in Ottawa. He might ask for more, but he's getting a lesser role in this scenario.

The hawks need to be on the puck quicker, and I think adding Fast allows them to do that. He can play effectively on any line and is strong on the forecheck.

Nick, you're sending two RFAs for a pending UFA...and I'd personally prefer either of those RFAs to trading for Tatar. Just sign him the following year without losing any assets.

At the age Kane and Toews are currently at, they're running out of time to remain competitive. Tatar has 61 points in 70 games, he could easily come with an extension. I'd actually prefer Gallagher but I don't think any Habs fans like that idea. Strome's value remains inconsistent, there's really not a good spot for him in the line up given the way he plays. I could swap Beaudin with Nylander, but would they take that? Doubtful.

Shaw would be a good 3C if he can stay healthy and disciplined.

With his concussion history who knows if he'll be back. They've given very minimal updates on him

That's a fair point, I have been wondering for a while, I'm just assuming he can heal and return 100%, but like you said, who knows.
