Let's just say that if one thinks that Marner should be paid twice compared to Lindholm, then shouldn't he should perform twice as better. Otherwise either Marner's overpaid, or Lindholm's underpaid.

Personally I think both of these are true, and therefore Lindholm has much more value than his "below PPG" stats show out.

last time i checked Lindhom has twice the goals Marner has and Calgary is one of the lowest scoring teams in the league this year. Toronto on the other hand is the highest scoring. Last year when Calgary was one of the highest scoring teams like Toronto, Lindholm was a PPG player with inferior linemates. Ill take Lindholm at 4.85 for 4 more years 9 times out of 10 before Marner at 10.8 for 5 years. you are delusional to think their values arent close

They are receiving 14m for two players, and giving 12 for three NHLers. Add another 2m for the third player to balance the roster, it's a 4m cap difference.
