Idk actually, they’ve got kind of a sick lineup but pretty much every skater sucks defensively and that’s not a good combo when Schneider is the goalie. Would be a real good case-study into the value of defense in the NHL.

I think San Jose shows that if your defense is too offensive and goaltending is subpar, your season will suffer despite your roster looking well. The 2014 Avs had horrendous D and ROR+Stastny were picking up the slack defensively and Varlamov stood on his head so much that he is now a injury liability. I would say this team would not make the playoffs. This team would lose 6-4 or 7-5 regularly. The games would be sick but the team would not be effective.
