Why not just keep Georgiev? I mean especially if you're trying to add Khudobin...Georgiev is younger yes? So he should be cheaper.

Anyway, this doesn't make sense to me.

So wait, the Rangers are trading a (presumably higher) 2nd, an RFA goalie with starter potential, and a decent prospect for a (presumably lower) 2nd and a UFA goalie 10 years older than the RFA.

My retort to OP's question is: Did you do 3 pounds of cocaine this morning? or 4?
