Trades are just for values I think Tampa will aim for, not that these will be the teams. This model has an 85 million cap, since most think it will be 84-86, went in the middle. This is a rough estimate of how Tampa could look next year, and those of us that know how the Lightning get things done with contracts will know the numbers are reasonable. Depending on where the cap ends up will determine what tweaks are made but this is a definite possibility of how the bolts could look next year. Some possible changes would be if Maroon wants to sign another 1 year team friendly deal and Tampa wants him back, maybe Bogosian as the rotating Dman and perhaps Volkov or Joseph instead of ABB. Of course if JBB convinces one of Gourde,TJ or Palat to waive, then they take the place of Killorn, but that seems unlikely atm. Obviously whatever the virus does to impact things long term can't be known yet, but still hopeful on a roster similar to this one. As far as specific players, Sergachev at 4.75 on a 3 year bridge is quite reasonable given McAvoy got 4.9 and Werenski took 5 on their bridge deals. Tampa gets their players to usually take a little less, so this number seems about right. Cirelli at 4.25 is right in line with what other young Tampa F that were performing at similar levels took on their 1st non elc based on % of cap. I could see Cirelli up to 4.5 but around 5% of the cap is the ballpark for his bridge. Cernak has been solid but has also shown more than a few times that he's still a 2nd year player here. 2 or 3 years at 2 max but closer to 1.75 is completely reasonable. If Tampa has to lose an rfa than it's def Cernak, but I believe he will want to stay with Tampa. JBB has to be thinking 11 max between the 3 of them, and it wouldn't surprise me or several others I've talked to if it's closer to 10 if these 3 come in even a few hundred k lower on their deals. I know this is a 21 player roster but it's just a rough estimate, when the numbers come in potentially a little lower on a couple players a 22nd player could be added. In any case, Tampa made 22 work fine for much of this season so whether it's 21 or 22, Tampa should be fine. Obviously this off season won't be easy but it's far from some worst case, everybody's going to take an offer sheet(lol) scenario so many on here seem to think it is.
