Marner is just fine. Can’t all be guts and glamour. I think he has made reformed just fine this year. Sure he has more to offer but that’s how things go sometimes.

I wouldn't go as far to say Marner is playing like trash, I'd say he's playing nervous, he's playing like the pressure of the hold out for 10.8 has gotten to him a little (which if this surprises you or anyone than you haven't paid attention to pretty much every RFA after a big pay day) he's playing like he needs to prove his worth like he needs to have pretty passes and dangle deaks to justify a pay cheque, which to be honest with the BS hate the kid as received since the signing shouldn't be surprising. He's 22 chill out he'll come around and he'll be fine

Last year Marner boosted his points and confidence by playing well at the right point on the PP. For some reason, Barrie has been cemented in that position all season. (and been average at best) Shirley, the Leaf have enough forwards to play the three/six forwards needed on the PP, and have Reilly and Marner playing the most minutes on the point.

I agree with you man, Marner is playing with fear & no fire. It’s all psychological, he can’t handle the stress of Leaf fans bashing him every day for signing that big overpaid contract.

Like a Montreal Canadien? Are you daft? I hate the Habs as much as the next guy but they are 1 of the most hardworking teams in the NHL... (which is why I hate them cause they work hard every shift and Leafs work hard 2 shifts a week...)
