I try real hard to make a trade for Ladd that benefits both team both is contract is just to ugly to take. Maybe a swap with alzner included with a good prospect could work.

Ladd will be on robidas island or buried in the minors next season. Komarov will likely be bought out.

Even if he end up in the minors islanders would still be charge for 4.425 millions for the next three season. That a big waste of money buying him out before the last season of that deal would be costly.

Would definitely do the first one. Would think about the second one but leaning towards no.

A little late, but I like these deals for the Isles a lot. Clutterbuck is the one I’m most disappointed about losing but the money made between those guys could cover Barzal itself. If we were to make first trade, the second one is less appealing imo. Not as much relief and giving up a good young player, but still a relatively small price to pay to move Ladd
