I don't see a big reason to do the Bennett trade from NSH's perspective, so I think they pass. Jarnkrok is a great player to have that can go up and down the line-up and he seems to have a great relationship with many players on the team. So I don't think I'd trade him just to add Bennett, who I'm not overly impressed with. He still has time to grow, but I'd rather get Bennett another way if that's who the Preds want.

I know the Preds would be getting younger and Bennett was a top pick only a few years ago and he can rock a moustache hard -- but I don't really see the point of doing the trade honestly. If the Preds want some change, then this deal could happen - sure. I don't think the value is that off if you add a middle round pick like you're suggesting, but I just don't really see the point to this kind of deal. I don't think it helps out the Preds that much in the grand scheme of things. Kind of a lateral move. The only thing I like about it is the age of Bennett vs the age of Jarnkrok, but Jarnkrok isn't slowing down at all, so even then it's kinda whatever.
