For me Engvall - Tavares - Nylander and Kerfoot - Spezza - Kapanen would make much more sense impact wise, but hopefully this one announced by Keefe will make it also.....for the next 10 needed wins....

He's a 3rd pairing guy.. Hasn't shown he can be more. I don't know what you expect out of him.

I think that is the issue. Rosen is great for what he is... but we have a lot of that.

I like Rosen but I don't in love with his game. Don't get me wrong he's a fine player but I don't think there's another level for him. We all have our depth players we like and there's nothing wrong with liking Rosen.

I hope your right. I don't see the harm in giving him a chance, but I think he's going to have to earn it and most likely wait until an injury arises. As of right now, I would put him ahead of Marincin but I get most would disagree with me. However, I don't think he gets his chance until an injury or Sandin stumbles and gets sent down. Also, I'd rather have him playing big minutes with the Marlies than sitting in the press box every night and I think our Management probably shares that view. But that's just my take as of right now.

I think you and @Trickster are overly hard on Marincin. We know what he is..but you two expect too much out of him and he disappoints because of said expectations.

If Dermott is moved...then you show teams different looks by playing Rosen most nights but sprinkle in Marincin.

Yea you might be only one in love with Rosen. IMO he just isn't good enough to hold up long stretches of NHL play. He's kinda of the 8th Dman. Earlier you talked about Myers. Can't see the Flyer wanting to trade a inexpensive Dman who is in their top 6. RHD Braun is a UFA, so the Flyers need him.

Pair Rosen with Muzzin and he will be able to demand 2 x 2M........

I never really had expectations for him and wasn't a huge fan of the trade but I get what you're saying. You're probably right I shouldn't hate on him as much as he's only a depth piece but I just wish they would have found someone else by now. That being said our FO sees something in him that I don't and I should trust their judgment. It's like I was saying to @Trickster we all have depth players we like but we also have ones we don't. I'd still take Rosen over him but I need to give him more of a chance it's just hard to do after he continuously makes mistakes.
