Description
Some things I should say:

Signing Domi at a show me deal means if he performs well, he stays. If not, he's traded or released.
Signing Evans for that low is also a show me deal, except if he performs well, he gets a payday. If not, he doesn't get a payday, but most likely stays.
Mete's 1 year deal means that he needs to perform to get a payday, or else he will be traded and Romanov will lead Montreal's blue line.
Ouellet gets a million bucks only because he has performed outstanding as Laval's captain, and deserves some bucks. A million is not buried money, so better for MTL.
Romanov and Mete both alternate playing on the second D-pair.

Freeing up some cap space so we can get some big names. In reality with the signing of Romanov, its only freeing up $2.475M in space, but that's still a lot of money freed up for a decent price.

First off the salary cap wont be anywhere near the $88.2 million mark, And secondly neither Hall nor Pietrangelo are signing with Montreal. And thirdly it's a 23 man roster and you've zero cap space to fill out the last 3 positions.

Are you Hall or Pietro's agent? Are you Hall or Pertro yourself?

They will go where the money is... then if the money is at more than one place- they'll decide from there.

Although MTL is out of the playoffs this year - they were still one of the best team 5v5 and a lot of their L were lost by 1 goal (the most in the NHL). MTL also has one of the best prospect pool in the NHL and that can be interesting for a player signing longterm.

But I agree about the rest

Why would either Hall or Pietrangelo sign with Montreal, Both will want to go where they can win a cup. And Montreal is still years away from being a cup competitor. Don't have to be their agents to know that i seriously doubt either has any interest in playing in Montreal. If it's money they want Detroit can offer them far more then Montreal seeing that we've close to $45 million to play with that's including Zetterberg on LTIR.

Hope not. Hall is not a competitor. Look at Duchesne in Nash.
Hall has what, 4 playoff appearances?
