Don't see NJ doing that. 2 okay B/B+ level prospects, 1 AHL guy in Bracco, and Johnsson who is an average winger and you're expecting Severson plus a 2nd?

Value may be a little off but not as much as you think. Sda and Mikhail Abramov are futures for them. Bracco will prob make the nhl and be a powerplay specialist. Johnsson is in the middle of a top 6 and top 9. The second is the islanders so it will prob be late

To your AGM subject like, No, the Leafs are not fine and that is regardless of 100% health or not. The problems, or issues, that resonate with this team run deeper than offensive stardum (or lack there of, when it counts). Regardless of the outcome of this season for this team, I expect big changes this offseason, none bigger than perhaps bringing in a new GM.

If you didn't watch the leafs. We beat Florida and Tampa with injuries. They can do it. Its just a matter if they have the effort to do it

And they just lost to 3 bottom feeding teams in a row; San Jose, Anaheim and the Kings. Leafs have big problems on defense (as a team not just the defenders) and goaltending is suffering as a result...Andersen is completely worn out.

Bracco is a PP specialist? So he's just going to be on the ice for the PP? Because his overall game sucks at the NHL level; he's likely a career AHL player with maybe 100 NHL games by the end of his career as a couple teams will try him out. SDA and Abramov are B/B+ prospects; certainly not locks for the NHL...could work but who knows. I put a 50/50 on both so one of them turns into a NHL player fulltime IMO.

Severson isn't, though? You just happen to want him in every thread. What a bum. They should pay you to take him.

“without injuries were fine“

Then you trade for a defenseman who is hypothetical playing top pairing for this team.

So let’s assume things aren’t fine bc your small trade was for a guy who is being asked to be a top pairing dman.

His value imo is a 1st round pick and a top prospect

Severson

For

1st round pick and dermott (still might not be enough but gets the conversation started)

Okay 2 top prospects ? Sounds good then make it the actual top prospects

Robertson and Liljegren? Okay so those 2 are actual enticing prospects. “Top prospects” come on man I’m not a leafs fan and I even know those guys aren’t top. Liljegren Robertson sandin woll (if a team needs a goalie). Bracco is 22. Putting up points in the AHL when you’re 18-19 is cool not 22. He’s a few seasons away from being a ufa. Devils would want a high end prospects for an established top pairing caliber Dman.

Not saying Der-Arguchintsev or Abromov aren’t good but they don’t add anything special. Quality over quantity

Lol if you actually looked at stats, you would see their good.
LOL LILLY AND ROBERTSON ARE YOU HIGH
those players aren't going anywhere unless there is a player named Manson coming back.
If I took out the second the trade would be fair

Severson is Manson good..... and I was simply pointing out that you said top prospects when we both know those aren’t the top prospects for the leafs. They aren’t top 50 prospects in the NHL. Long story short those players don’t get you an established top pairing D man. Sorry. Justify it however you want but guys who are #4-5 on the leafs depth charts aren’t getting it done

Here’s a tool site since you seem the opposite of smart when it comes to player evaluation. FYI severson and Manson are very similar (equivalent) smile spoiler alert

Lol Andersen only played one of the games.
Pittsburgh also just lost to all three much worse than Toronto did. Cali teams are hot right now. You have to watch the games to carve them. Toronto played good the three games. Can't win them all

Yup but Andersen hasn't been good since the start of 2020, average at best.

I watched all 3 games, I live in California so I get all of them on local broadcast. I don't know, Hawks didn't have a problem a few days earlier.

It's a tough league. Even the best teams lost 30-40% of the time. I don't know why I am explaining this but a couple games means nothing

This website is fine but It is not 100% exact. Manson is much better than severson at delivering hits and playing defense. Manson sucks at offense.

I did and watched nearly every game of theirs this season. As you will no doubt notice, the issue is not that they are not capable of beating good teams, it is that they lack consistency, drive and passion game-to-game. It's been their problem since basically Mike Babcock started coaching this team, and I would argue some of this team's character do not fit a winning mold.

You are counting on Florida, the team that just went 6-10-3 in the last 19 to catch fire and pass them? This "room" for losses is nonsense. You have no idea how many pts Florida will end up with, the only team that can knock us out.
It's that simple
