I agree the Arizona trade is terrible, but not justifying the Bonino trade but Hall was traded for Larsson or last time Marino was traded it was a 5th round pick.
Players get better over time and Bonino's performance in Pittsburgh and being easily one of the best 3rd line centers in the league he's good.

Bonino has the incredible luck of being able to play behind Malkin and Sid. Bonino is a 2 year older Pageau. He has never broken 50 points.

Bonino is fine as a playoff pickup, but he is a 3C and you have us trading away all our centerman who would possibly plat in front of him.

Pageau got a 1st and a 2nd. Bonino is older. I would do Formenton + 2nd and thats about it.
