Didn't TB pay that for Barclay Goodrow, a 3rd/4th liner.......... Gonna take a lot more than that I would think. (Assuming MB would listen on trading Gallagher, which he wouldn't anyway)

Goodrow and Coleman’s prices were unique to that deadline and team. Don’t expect that to be the prices coming this summer

As opposed to the attached offer? If the value associated with Goodrow and Coleman are extreme on one side, the above is the other extreme. Kase, Zucker, Miller, Kane, Tatar (Det trade), Pacioretty, Hartman, Nash....plenty of other examples as to why Gallagher would command a significantly higher return than the above.

The Coleman and Goodrow trades didn't set the standard I agree but they certainly will help shaped expectations going forward. There is zero incentive to trade Gally for the above and that partially due to recent as well as past trade examples.

Oh I know that trade up there isn’t realistic. Just saying don’t expect guys like Goodrow to get that much during the summer or it to really effect prices long term
