Marincin has no value, you keep him or waive him.

Bennett trade is interesting, I'll give you that.

Honestly I'd rather Liljegren than Manson. Manson is better today, but only two years left of control, and frankly is overrated from one great year a couple years ago where he was a top pairing guy. Outside of that he is an average second pairing guy. Liljegren has the higher ceiling (MUCH lower floor) and is cost controlled for 2 more years and like 5 years of control.

Zero reason to trade Marincin. Just bury him in the AHL if you don't want him. Trading Kerfoot for Bennett is probably a loss for Toronto.

Manson trade is fine. Don't want to move Liljegren, but probably don't get Manson without him. Depends on how much better you think he makes the team and if you have any chance of resigning him.

I'd be willing to take a flyer on Bennett he's still only 23 and could use a change of scenery. Kerfoot is a good player but we're gonna have to find money somewhere

Bennett makes about a million less, but will need a new contract the season after and may want to make more then Kerfoot is. Getting a worse player is not how you win games. Taking a "flyer" on a guy to see if he can play in our middle-6 is also a bad idea.

He has no leverage to make more than Kerfoot. He doesn't have the stats to back it up. Kerfoot has been ok so far but we seem to be using him more on the wing than at centre. The cap is probably going to be higher than this anwyays so you probably don't have to trade him it was just an idea
