Because he's been better? If Makar didn't get injured then maybe and there's an argument for Pietrangelo but other than that no one is close imo. Btw Fox and Hughes are in a closer fight for #2 rookie than Hughes and Makar for #1.

Fair enough, I just think I'd take Ovi over him...but they both are probably better than others on the list, NYR have a really good player on their hands, he could win a Selke IMO...SH goals are hard 2 come by

Try Ovi over Marchand and Stamkos, I might be biased against Marchand though
