As much as I would love for MTL to make that deal no way in hell they would. Gallagher might be one of the most underrated players in the league on arguably the best deal in the league. Would take a ton to pry him out of MTL.

I like that D, very strong and heavy. Basically the opposite of what we have now with Kempny and Jensen in. You add in Alex squared to that mix, that's another big mobile defenseman. Our D would be insane as the following:

Dillon-Carlson
Orlov-Manson
Alexeyev-Fehervary

Siegs extra. Rotate Siegs into Alex and Fevervary's spot as needed. Big, strong and still fairly agile overall defense with the youth on the bottom end.

could swap out Leason for Protas. Protas has been tearing it up in the WHL.

Lmfao Gallagher? Omg you could get a much better player than Gallagher for this price. “Bums”. He’s a 50! Point winger... yeah hard pass. Maybe a 1st and a prospect but not overpaying for a guy who plays on the 3rd line in Washington.

IMO seig is a stud and could easily be playing in Washington’s top 4. Idk that Washington needs to dump futures for him. IMO he’s a great defenseman but we have a ton of young talent ready to play. We need to dump kemp and Jensen and see what these youngster can do

You could easily get a player of his caliber for way less. You could trade for Brett Connelly and he’s a slight downgrade for way less

Sorry but nah. Gallagher is an absolute beast, an insane puck possession player that annually has some of the best GAR and WAR stats. Dude drives play like no one elses business. Con was great but 1 dimensional, he just scored goals. Gallagher does everything.

Yeah seems like Gallagher is the new player to glorify this month. 50 point players that have a good 200ft game are great but hardly worth this especially on expiring deals. Every season / month there is a new player that people overvalue. Manson is also currently on this list
