Det trade doesn't make sense. At least Dub will be off the books after next year, where Nielsen would have another year. Both of their games have fallen off of cliffs. Sokolov isn't worth much of anything currently, so probably better hold on to him to see what he does this offseason (maybe he'll actually try an offseason workout program this summer). Strum should be penciled in as the 4C for next season.
NYR trade shouldn't be made. It seems like giving up on Greenway too soon, he can dominate when he decides to. I'd much rather have Greenway than Bellow in the lineup.
NYI trade is what it is I guess, not a fan of it, but seems like what was being talked about at the TDL.
Why does Buf make that trade? Mayhew is an AHL lifer, Dewar (who I like) might become a bottom-6 center, and a late 1st; Buf should hold on and develop Mittelstadt if that he'll get in trade.
I like the Lehner signing. I don't think MN does it though. I'm guessing the plan is to give goalie KK a fair chance next season in the NHL. Stalock is should be on the team to be exposed in the expansion draft. Dub might pass though waivers (next year) with no takers with how he's played this year. Robson and Jones look promising as goalie prospects so far too; but goalies are always a crap shoot. I think they'll put off any longterm goalie decisions until the 20-21 offseason.
I'd bet even money that one of the d-men is traded this offseason. And that Belpedio and/or Menell are on the opening day roster.
