As an Islanders fan, i don't like this deal. Bellows has a lot of potential and I don't think it's worth it for us to give him up with 2 3rds to upgrade Ladd to Parise, who has a bigger, longer contract. Just my opinion.

The wild would have had to retain some of parise salary to make it happen. He wouldn’t account for 7.5 mill on our roster.
